My Dad has 2 expressions he favors;
1. An empty barrel makes the most noise.
and
2. Better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and prove them right.
I still try and live by them.. sometimes I fail..
I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
