    SBC oil pressure question

I just completed and heads and cam swap on my sbc and now my oil pressure gauge isn't working. Now I am concerned I am not getting enough oil pressure. I pulled a valve cover and then started the engine to see if the valve train is getting oil. I am getting a steady stream of oil from where the rockers meets the pushrods. It is not squirting all over the place like I have heard when people are adjusting valves with a running engine. Does this seem like normal oil pressure or should it be making a mess all over the place. Thanks.

I have never adjusted my valves running I do it static. RPM will increase pressure and squirt, for a few bucks get a gauge and find out or throw a sender on and hook up the idiot light. What you describe sounds right and your probably ok, but.
I have two brains, one is lost and the other is out looking for it
