    Yeah, I hate to knock someone's plan as it is your money and time but these were probably the worst performance small blocks Chevy ever put out. If you want small cubes find an old 307. Bigger bore/shorter stroke; much better engine. Hot Rod built one of these years ago that got something like 25mpg in a full size Monte Carlo.
