Hey anyone with horsepower advice. I am considering having my rollerblock bored 40 over with kiethblack flattops, have the block decked, and convert to a 6 inch rod but I'm wondering will I tell a big enough performance differance to be satisfied with the amount I will be spending. Anyone???

As far as the rod length, please read Tech Tip 2005 here. Written by Ron Iskenderian, son of the famous "Camfather" Ed Iskenderian.

Jerry makes sense with his stroker advice. Otherwise, I think you're just kidding yourself. Boring +0.040" and decking the block are part of the procedures you would do in the whole scheme of a performance build, but in and of themselves, I would consider them a waste of time and money unless the motor is just worn out and needs to be freshened up.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.
