Correct Power Steering Bracket SBC SWP ?
My guess is that there is yet another PS bracket that works for this. There is not enough room for either of these brackets for PS pump to fit without being obstructed by PS Gear Box. Same post as previous, but this post has pic's of each bracket and block/PS Pump distance. Any thoughts where I can get the proper bracket?

Hmmmm. Not really a Chevy guy and it's been a long time since I've messed with the stock stuff, but was there something about having to use the tall engine mounts with this setup to get the clearance??? I suppose that's what you have on the engine already anyway???? Hopefully someone with a better memory then mine will see the post....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I don't think so Dave. There are 2 style fame mounts for that era Chevy, the short ones were for V8s and the tall ones used with the 6 cylinders.
It's been 20 years since I've screwed with the short waterpump stuff (and it was hard to find even back then). I do remember the bracket is supposed to catch the lower 2 mounting bolts on the block, but I don't remember what the complete setup looks like.I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....

there isn't a head mount bracket you could use? I'm not really familiar with the OEM style stuff but I am going to be running a krc ps pump that runs off the water pump using a v-belt
