Can't find engine ID on web
I have found the numbers: K0106FSC on my 350. I am not able to match those numbers on any of the ID charts that I can find on the web. Can anybody help?
Thanks

I do know that the engine is from late 80's to early 90's by the casting numbers and had a throttle body. It was in a truck but don't know what year truck or even if it was original to the truck.

Three applications for FSC
1984 CK 10,20,30 350engine 160hp manual tranny 4bbl carb CAL emissions
1994 CK 10, 20 350 engine 210 hp 700R4 tranny TBI CAL emissions
1997 G body van 350 engine 255 hp 700R4 tranny CPI Federal emissions, RYDER
IF it had an original throttle body, it is a 94. You can check that by the casting code
on the back of the block that is just to the driver's side of the distributor. Last digit
will be a 3 or 4 on the 4 digit code (first digit is a letter indicating month, second and
third are day, and last is year digit)Last edited by robot; 10-02-2013 at 05:21 PM.

The best numbers I can come up with are: large numbers, 57LGSGI and small numbers next to dist. 280 and a little lower L106 but these numbers are very hard to make out so I am not sure if that is correct.
These numbers are in addition to the casting number 14093638.

I answered your question in post 3. Maybe you can find someone to read it to you.....

Do you sometimes feel like you are invisible??? I hate it when I answer a question but no-one notices! And sometimes 3 other posters give the same reply but the op only selects one person to thank!
Human nature?? IDK, it's all good tho.. we can offer knowledge or an opinion only. What the op decides to do with either his ultimately his choice.

Yes, invisible. I think some folks like to keep posting just to hear their voice....
Another peeve is the people who dont want to exert any effort to diagnose their car problem. They continually ignore posts asking for more info....next, they want someone to fix the vehicle remotely.....for free, of course.
I bought a Chevy small block suffix code book and am glad to help people identify their engines. However, No way am I going to their location to read their casting numbers and codes for them.....Last edited by robot; 10-08-2013 at 09:54 AM.
