    Crank gear stuck

Crank gear is stick on the crank shaft and will not move at all. Got any suggestions for removal? I am currently using a three jaw gear puller. Previously installed and removed this same gear once before no problem.

Are you wanting to save this gear? If not just use a 4" grinder with a narrow cutoff wheel. put a cut through it and tap a chisel into the cut, spreading the gear enough to add clearance.

If saving it, gear a bearing separator and puller, protect the crank snout at all costs, pulling against it could cause damage if the puller is allowed to get into the threads or not kept on center.
