    Question block trouble

     



    I NEED HELP I WENT TO MORTEC.COM AND CHECKED MY BLOCK# IT SHOWS 3 DIF BLOCKS WITH THAT SAME NUMBER
    302-69-Z28 4BOLT
    327-69 IND. OR TRUCK-2 BOLT
    350-69 TO 80 2OR4 BOLT
    HOW DO I FIND OUT WHAT I HAVE WITHOUT TAKING MOTOR AP
    ART?


    thanks guys i guess i'll have to do some cleaning to find more numbers taking it apart is not good this is my daily driver.

    Question block numbers

     



    hey guys did some more checkingand found the following
    block has 3970010also has h 30 6 and the number 37. the heads show conv4 k 12 9 and 8947041 and the letter t. when i bought the truck i was told it was a 350 4bolt with a steele crank flat tops and 202 heads now that i want to change it i need to find out all i can so i know where to start.

    The block no 3970010 was used for more than ten years. In both 2 and 4 bolt main. Cast in Saginaw, Michigan. The heads 041 were only used 69-70, on the 300 hp. 4-bbl 350. The heads are almost direct copies of the "Camel backs" with acc. bolt holes in the end. Stock, they were 1.94-1.50". Flat top pistons were OEM and cranks were iron.

    thanks all for the help its good to find a place where you can get answers and not crazy jibber jabber . i'm new to all this computer stuff as well as the hot rodding but i have allways loved cars and trucks. will have more questions so dont hate me lol
