Question Want help with a chevy small block

So I have this crazy idea and want to know if it's even doable, and if so how to do it. I have a '76 Monte Carlo with a Jasper Crate 350. Right now it has an Edlebrock Preformer intake and a 1405 Edlebrock 650 cfm Carburetor. What I want to do is add on a twin turbo kit, preferably a bolt on system where I don't have to do anything to the Cam, to the valve train, or changing the compression and I want to keep the carb. So is this even possible? Am I gonna have to break the bank to do it? Most kits I found online are mainly for direct injection. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The stock bottom end would be hard pressed to handle a single turbo, let alone twins. Turbocharges require a special grind cam, and a carb that is specifically calibrated for a turbo (called a blow-through carb). Also, your stock ignition system won't be up to the task of lighting off a mixture that is under that much pressure. Just a rough guess, but if you had an engine up to the task of handling twin trubo's, the cost of a twin turbo system alone would be somewhere north of $4k......

Ditto what Dave said. Sounds like you're wanting a quick, easy way to add a bunch of HP without spending much money? Seems to me most of the kids (not saying you're a kid) just buy a NOX system, ramp from "single shot" to "double shot" or even "triple shot" and then cry when they leave a trail of hot oil, rods & pistons scattered down Main Street. The old adage from an unknown SOCAL speed shop back in the day still applies in spades today, "Speed is Money! How Fast Do You Want To Go."

    Welcome to CHR, BTW.

I know that working on the bottom end would give me better results. And I know better than yup just throw in a dry shot of NOS or even a wet shot. I just wanted to know if there is bolt on kit that I could just slap on and go

Not a turbo, but you might call the guys at ProCharger and see what kits they have to fit your needs. I think you'd be pleased with their product - ProCharger Superchargers
