    Beehive springs

First post from a new member, so if I somehow violate protocol, please tell me.

I'd like to know which SBC engine/head came stock with beehive or tapered valve springs.

    Thanks

Welcome to CHR! Pretty hard to violate protocol here, as no one really gets upset about where things are posted, or what's asked. I'll leave the answer to your question to those who know.

bee hive springs started early aircraft engines-

Auto in later 1990s on GM LS , Ford Mod, and Mopar Hemi------I don't remember which series/size LS that I first saw them OEM, but have used a lot from the aftermarket----the smaller retainer and the ultra skinny stems (as small as 6 mm) have really lowered the weight of the valve train on the rocker side-----

    and welcome to chr

    Yep, protocol breach.

New guy is supposed to bring donuts.
