    ID for 350 Chev Engine

     



    Looking to buy a 2 bolt 350 block large journal. Built 11-1968

    Want to verify that it is a 350. Block casting # 3932386

    What say ye.

    It's a 69 block and can either be 302, 327, or 350.

    Nail it down by the suffix code, which is stamped on the passenger side of the block, at the very front, just above the passenger side top water pump bolt head. You're looking for two or three letters at the end of the stamping. Go to this website, scroll down to "Suffix Portion of Chevy Engine Code" and click on the series of letters that has your letters in it.....
