    Cam Lube?

What type do you guys recommend for the initial install? Also, would you recommend I I also apply this lube to lifters? Thanks,

    Flat tappet cam, read this.....

Roller tappet cam, wash off the protective oil that is applied at the factory to prevent rusting, dip the cam and the lifters in engine oil, install and run.

I use Joe Gibbs Driven "Assembly Grease" on the cam and lifters.

I also use Joe Gibbs Driven Break-In oil "BR" or "BR30", followed with "HR1" or "HR2" after break-in. Whatever oil you use, it needs to be a high zinc oil for flat tappet cams. I do not like the ZDDP additives you put in the regular oil, and do not recommend them to my customers.
