383 stroker build
hi I'm building a 383 stroker looking for rough horsepower guesses been looking around the internet to find some similar setups been difficult maybe your guys input will help 383 stroker 210cc afr head 2.08 1.60 65cc chambers,keith black flat tops 11.1, lunati voodoo solid roller 585.600 lift 110 lobe seperation 285.290 duration edelbrock victor jr intake 850 Holley xp, scat 4340 forged rods scat 4340 forged crank. Only way to really know would be dyno but some rough house numbers would be good enough for me thanks

My guess would be between 500 and 550 hp based on a
similar build my son did about a year or so ago. You can
find his build on CHR; however lots of the pics were lost
somewhere, but at the end you can hear it run.

new here,
i am just now installing 383 with vortec heads. i am just hoping for maybe 325 hp but the torque is what i want around 400?

Welcome to CHR!
You may want to start a new thread for this and tell us a little bit about what you have, i.e., is this a crate motor that you have purchased or one that you've built?
What are the specifications - which vortecs, compression ratio, cam type (hopefully a hydraulic roller), lift and lobe separation, what manifold and did you use a carburetor of fuel injection?
We need more information and will be very willing to chime in.
