    Which head

First off I know there are alot around this subject however I have not found an answer for over two hours. I have a 78 camaro with the original 350. The cylinder heads that are on it are 76cc original. I am needing to rebuild them. How,ever I don't want to tear it apart and have it sit at a michine shop for a week. I have another set of heads that the casting #s state that they are 71-72 350 LT! 75cc. My question is, are my extra set of heads better , worst, or about the same.
    Thanks,
American Muscle over rice pattys anyday!

    78 Camaro head's

What size valve's are in the 71-72 head's 'are they straight plug or angled. If they are 2.02 head's they are definately going to be better. The 78 heads are probally going to be more like smog head's and the valve's could be smaller. In 78, G.M. was just starting to come back with some power for the Camaro's. Kind of rebounding from the emission's era. So the older head's might be better,if they're the right size for you.
