    chevy 350 ????????????

     



    i have some question's ...

    i have a 1984 chevy camaro Z28... with a 5 speed standard transmission... 373 gear's....


    im having a 1969 350 chevy engine built for me.
    with a steel crank. trw 10.2 to 1 compression.
    comp cam. maginum 280H with 230 at .50 ..... 280 and 480 lift.
    factory 194. 50 head's.
    edelbrock performer intake and a 650 carb....
    HOW MUCH HORSEPOWER SHOULD I HAVE AND MY CAR WITH ME IN IT IS 3500 LBS..... WHAT DO YOU THINK IT WILL RUN...??????
    AND ANY SUGESTION'S ON WHAT I CAN DO TO GET MORE POWER WITHOUT HURTING MY POCKET TOO MUCH ?????

    full port & polish on the heads, headers, jump up to 390 gears for da rear, go up to a 750 double pumper w/mech. seconds, trade off the 5-speed for a rockcrusher, ladder bars.
    Start there and see if it makes a diff. - then we'll get to the good stuff...lol

    Oh yeah....toss that 280 H bumpstick & pack a 262 HE cam instead, find a 307 crank & use 327 pistons & rods to fit bore (or go to 4030 ) Moly rings- NOT chrome, Cloyes hex-adjust roller chain, cam button, two piece timing chain cover,POINTS dist., Melling oil pump, Torker Intake, Hooker headers, ok - that'll do it......I think - to start.

    Streets. I know this might seem niave but how did u come up with those numbers? I must say i was impressed with the sheer number of decimals.
