    305 heads

ok guys..here's the deal..i got a 305 out of a 88 pickup, the motor's in damn good shape, almost new, i blew the other one, but i want to know what kind of heads i can slap on it to get some more balls out of it, it's got an edelbrock performer intake, tbi, if you guys got any ideas they'd be greatly appreciated.

and anyone that's got nothing but bad to say about the 305, dont say anything at all.

I used the L98 Aluminum heads on my 305 & loved em, also the S/R Torker305 heads work well, & than theres always the Vortec

Even though 305's are junk really, they can be made to produce over 300 Hp so, if you got it, it's worth using and being you have an edlebrock preformer intake, i'd suggest using edlebrock preformer heads cause all those parts are designed to work togther, there like a grand a set out of summit.
