You should check to see if your coil has power with the ignition on. Next if you checked to see if you had spark and didn't your ditributor might be (180) which means that the number one plug is firing on exhaust stroke and it needs to be on compression stroke. If thats the case pull number one spark plug and rotate engine untill you get it top dead center again, and redrop distributor. Next if timing is off you can have someone crank the engine over while you rotate the distributor closer to timing.
