A lot of Pro shops have left goods & extra's for sale..I build my own engines and have picked up a LOT of good stuff from the speed shops, from BEHIND the counter. These are from people coming in and ordering work to be done & never picking it up.
Your "two cents worth" is just about that as it has NOTHING to do with this thread. The guy asked how to with a budget.Last edited by hambiskit; 10-06-2004 at 04:34 PM.

Check these guys out in Houston TX. They have any type you want at fair prices. http://www.precisionengine.com/perfo..._gm_chevy.html
or
www.precisionengine.com
The first link has a 300HP 350ci for 1499.95 plus tax. But you really should look through thier site. Send them an e-mail about what you have and what you could do with it. They have great advice, just like the guys here. And have the parts on hand.It ain't broke if you can fix it.

Oh yea, they also have individual parts like cranks, heads, pistons, etc. In my opinion they are a little high on carbs. It ain't broke if you can fix it.
You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
