Charlie - you at least 100% correct - except for folks like us, the 'core group' it could go the way of Car Enthusiast - which cratered after a very few months.

Same thing is going on over on Club Cobra. But there are ads under at least three different user names (Brent, RSS & 13). Also for different types of cars, Cobras, GT40's &?.

I suggested there to give them their own forum group and give us the option to block the whole thing.

I don't think this was Brents intentions and is effectivly wasting server space so I'm sure it will be switched to off. Probably just testing the water for what the new software can do, and we just have to hang on.. He will probably find a good and welcome addition to CHR... eventully...

Some forums have test boards. I think we need 1.

I have another suggestion. If you want to use up space, how about expanding the PM to 10,000 characters instead of the fosdick 1,000 limit now. You can't even get started good and you're out of space.

That is why there is an "send this user an email" option for when PM's are too large.

Hey sorry guys...I turned it off for now. I had meant to just pull stuff in once in a while so people could see stuff that's out there...thought I could make it just update the thread with new stuff and not repost making it show up all the time. Sorry.

Please Brent, don't clutter this site with "junk"
Same question could be posed to your complaint. I clicked on your link thinking of seeing a car, but just your rant. Read the rules.

Haha, you ACTUALLY think we just talk about cars here?? If you look at the Hot Rod Lounge it is there specifically for NON car discussions.

Mr Retired - Let's just take a look here - you have been a "contributor" since April 19,2009. You have made exactly 49 posts which is .06 posts per day on a fairly active forum. Now since it has taken you 3 months plus to even respond to my June post really doesn't lend much credibility to your diatribe If you really know and understand the rules and feel that I need a reminder, please by all means, contact Mr Mustang (Bill) or Brent Mills and tell them that I have been a bad boy and need some discipline. Please do that ASAP!!!
