Two weeks ago it was snowing. Yesterday we got 20 C.
People react to the 32 in different ways. Some pedestrians stop and look with a smile, some take pictures as I drive by with their mobiles.
Late model modifieds usually drive around you in a 'stick two fingers up at ya' style. That is until I meet them at the lights.
Petrol stations, people usually have nice things to say. Once a guy asked me what it was before I spoilt it. I replied " A Vauxhall Nova". Which is not like an American Nova...it's a small hatchback which is cheap to insure. So all the youngest drivers buy them and max them up with big exhausts, neon washers, nos stickers etc etc.
An interesting thing happened when my club visited a roll cage factory. So did a contingent from USAF Mildenhall. We turned up in our rods and muscle cars and the Americans turned up in Mini's ( not the skirts lol. The car's). They have a mini club on base.
Merry Christmas ya'll
