Deuce in a box? You guys see it?

Guys, you see the Speedway Motors/Jim Price '32? $49k w/o engine/tans. Looks like a lot of value. Granted it goes against the grain of hotrodding - being they will all be same color, same features e.t.c. however looks pretty neat for a guy who wants to jump in and go (almost).

Jordan, is that Jim Price as in Superformance?

Hmmm, interesting approach. That would ball park at $60k on the road, runnin'. Not really too far out for a steel roadster.

Any idea who's stamping the body? Interesting that it's zinc coated steel.

If that's a correct photo of the actual car the only thing that's significantly "wrong" is the rear end width. After that's it's just taste issues.

Hi Bob, hope all is well. I believe it is the same Jim Price. Also, the article in SR said that the presses were bought from GM and delivered to SA where the bodies are stamped.

There was a CHR thread a few months ago about this car. I is built in South Africa and shipped here and it is Superformance. There were several comments about the fit and finish as I remember but at the time it wasnt apparent if the problems were "new design" teething or cheapness.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Based on the pics nitrofc put up the rear offset looks better than the pdf doc.
