...Yep I talked to Wayne at Redneck Street Rods today {he's building my '32 for me} & I'm going with a big block! He said that the radiator was up to handleing 800 HP & since I've planned all along to go with fenderwell exit exhaust that the steering would clear. He mentioned something about the motor having to be set back a couple of inches? I guess that was because the BB is 2" longer? I wonder if he has to move the firewall back? He said he'd put in a little bit stiffer front spring. Oh well, whatever it takes! Anyway, I'm eye balling the Big Block short blocks that Scott Shafiroff Racing has . Looks like about the best deal going on a short block, then get the heads, & then the manifold, carb & ignition. It'll take a few months to get it all done but it'll be worth it ....
