...Yep I talked to Wayne at Redneck Street Rods today {he's building my '32 for me} & I'm going with a big block! He said that the radiator was up to handleing 800 HP & since I've planned all along to go with fenderwell exit exhaust that the steering would clear. He mentioned something about the motor having to be set back a couple of inches? I guess that was because the BB is 2" longer? I wonder if he has to move the firewall back? He said he'd put in a little bit stiffer front spring. Oh well, whatever it takes! Anyway, I'm eye balling the Big Block short blocks that Scott Shafiroff Racing has. Looks like about the best deal going on a short block, then get the heads, & then the manifold, carb & ignition. It'll take a few months to get it all done but it'll be worth it
