Fit, particularly around the doors required an extraordinary amount of work. It took a professional shop about a week to get it to approximately the same leval as one from most other manufactures.

I could post an elaborate expanation on this for, but I will refrain.
Lets just say that Heritage does not have the best reputation for quality.

thanks to both of you for your input. i want to run a 32 tudor or possibly a 30-31 tudor on deuce rails with a chopped and channelled old school look in a nostalgia drag race series. the car would see some street use but as you know the body selection for this configuration is very limited. i would even consider an original steel body if i could find one. again, thanks for your input.

Ravon way out in Montana offers a 32 three window coupe body for race cars. They have a good reputation and sell a lot of bodies out west.

I guess the place to get a Tudor is Downs.
I am a Tudor fan, but I am not sure what else to tell you.
Here is a pic of mine -

thanks sir speedy, your 32 is very sharp, it's whati'm looking for with the additional effect of channelling it to the bottom of the frame rail. i went to downs site and could not find any current info on the tudor, i will probably give them a call. thanks again for your help. is your car a downs body or is it steel?

The body on that car is fiberglass.
We purchased it from a body company here in Florida that has now gone out of business.
We got it right out of the mold. We laminated the doors ourselves, hung and latched our own doors, trimmed off the excess glass, everything.
At the time(~2yrs ago), I couldn't find anyone with a 3-4" chop Tudor, so this was the only option.
Good luck with your build, feel free to ask anything you need to know.

Sir Speedy - VERY cool tudor! Trust me , if you're going to buy a glass body do a LOT of homework FIRST and read the posts on sites like this. If you can afford it pay the extra and get a top qualitybody from a well known outfit ( Downs, Wescott, Outlaw, Redneck to name a few) Don't go cheap to save a few bucks....cuz you won't!"nobody likes a top on a roadster, but it's nice to have one in the trunk when you need it!"See us at www.topsters.com
A "skip" = a dumpster.... but he says it's proper english??? Oh.. Okay. Most of us can see the dating site pun, "matching" with an arsonist.. But a "SKIP? How is that a box? It must all be...
