    32 hood question

I am new here. Hi to all of you. I am curious how an original hood is mounted. I see that the hood is hindged in the center and also where the sides meet the hood. My question is other than the side hold down latches, is there anything that connects the top to the body? I would think it would slide to the opposite side when one side is opened? Any info or a picture would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Ed

The center hinge point is connected to the cowl on one end, radiator shell on the other.
