    Jim....you're from Texas....use a .357 Magnum drill...with a
flat nosed bullet so it wont go thru the other side of the tank.

You know, that would just the right size to put a 3/8" gas line.

This is a pic of the Vintique tank...I have never seen one without the dual pickup locations since they released their tank.

Does yours say "Vintique" where I circled?

    Exclamation Ain't I Lucky

I've been in touch with Chad at Vintique and I have 1 of a 100 tanks that they built for restorers. These tanks had sending unit and bottom pickup only. Lucky me! I have asked if he would be interested in making a swap for a "street rod" tank. Haven't heard any thing yet, but he will be in Ft. Worth at Texas Motor Speedway swap meet next week so that will make whatever happens eaisier.

P.S. They did kinda owe me a "ho"

Red face Don't feel so bad

Don't feel so bad, I wound up with one of the other 99 tanks with only 1 pickup. I am probably going to weld in fittings for a fuel line and vent. If it doesn't work out I might pick up another tank at Pate Swap Meet next week at the Texas Motor Speedway. I bought my tank there a couple of years back and did not notice that it did not have two holes instead of one.

    Talking '32 Tank Update

Even a blind pig finds an acorn sometimes! I went to TMS Thur. after contacting Chad at Vintique and he gave me credit for my tank and I now have the right one. Kudo's for the help from the board and to Chad Looney.

Less weight more speed; there's no substitute for cubic inches; If it don't go-chrome it
