'32 Highboy coming together
Well I thought I would post some recent and non-recent pics of a '32 Hi-Boy Roadster I am building along side another project. Seems I missed some sparks flying, and Streets if you read this, I hope you come back. Sad to see this situation even happen, especially with someone who I assume is acting as a site admin.
Anyway, back to cars. I am hoping the img tags work here.

No A/C Bob. Haven't found a system that is efficient enough to cool the deuce running with no roof and windows
There is an underdash add-on meant for a radio and a storage bin. Still not sure I even want either of those. We'll see. Thanks for the kind words.

No worries gents. Body will be painted PPG Intense Blue as well. I am thinking of having the block color a cast iron grey and then getting interior to match the block. Car has come a ways since these pics and I will take some more photos. It has been a year just in fitting and fab work to switch the chassis to a manual trans setup and getting that Hemi to fit perfectly. The frame is a one of a kind that Bobby Alloway did, as is the body by Rat's Glass. Basically, a shop owner gave Bobby permission to do "what Bobby wanted to do". Then 9/11 came, and he could not sell the car. I made an offer, we haggled, and I took the project over.

Dave, I unfortunately have been insane enough, due to no fault of my own of course, to have two builds going on at the same time. I was supposed to be done with the Cobra months ago. It has dragged out for various reasons. Engine builder had machined some heads after I built the short block, but they were old race heads that had been shaved pretty good and it would have forced me to run race gas. We had to go back to square one and redo the heads. Here was the other one back in June when it was clean without a summer's worth of sweat and blood on it. Took some more pics of the rod today which I will link in.
