    32 3w winshield frame

I'm close to needing a winshield frame for a 32 3w. It's a deuce customs body. What's the best way to install an original style frame in a glass car? I don't want the frame to actually open just look stock. I don't really want a glue in frameless style either as I'm building a traditional car (looking anyway).

From what I've researched, speedway seems to be the cheapest. How's the quality? Thanks, eric

OK, thanks. I know it's been done before, just like a little heads up before I dive in.

Contact Tom Troutwein, he manufactures most of the quality windshield frames sold in the aftermarket. Years ago I got one from him for a Gibbon, chopped 3w I had. He made it to fit the shape unique to that body. He may be familiar with your manufacturer also. No website that I'm aware of.

I'd like to follow up on this question. I have a windshield frame that came with the body when I got my 32 5 window from New Age Motorsports (the frame may have come from Trautwein, I'm not sure who Ed uses). I have had the frame chromed and am now at the point where it's time to look at mounting it, I have a local source that will cut the glass, now here's the question. How do you fasten the windshield frame to the fiberglass body. It is a non opening windshield. 'Seems like it would be glued in, but what brand of adhesive and what's the general process to do this? Thanks

Thanks for all the quick replies. The last question is kinda what I've been wondering about too. I think some sort of brackets or something to bolt in from the inside where they can't be seen. I don't think a glue in would work. It seem you would be trying to glue the frame to the car not the glass? I'm sure we'll figure it out.
