Saw the Brookville steel coupe body in Daytona...
today at the Turkey Run. It looked really good, full fendered on their show exhibit car. In fact, it looked great and the way to go when I can swing it.

I think it's cool ... that they are making them ... and I Hope you can get one ... I just meant ... if you get on the waiting list ... NOW ... It will be a while ...
I had considered trying to buy one before they had got everything finished up ... but finally bought a good original one ...
The Brookville 3W is pretty close ... just a few things that are not dead on original Ford correct ... but close enough for a Hot Rod
You can go here ... to see a little progress on my 3W project ...

It is some what funny ... or ironic
The fellow who had my 32 3W ... finally sold it to me because ( in his mind ) ... the new Brookville 3W coupes would run the value of the original Murray built Henry Ford 32 3W coupes down ) I believe it has done the opposite ...Last edited by Deuce; 11-25-2006 at 07:27 PM.

Look at the top dash rail, in the center ... you can see the hole for the cigar lighter ( the first Ford to have a lighter ) ... I do not know WHY they left it off ... it would have been easy to do.
They must have really gotten busy building the 3W's ... Kenny Gollahon ( the owners son ) told me at Louisville that the production would be 2 to 3 bodies a week ... 4 if they had a real good week.
They did not have the arm rests done yet ... I wonder how they will look?? The originals are very difficult to find ... ( thankfully I found a set ... )

When was there a coupe body at Honest Charlie's spot? That 30-31 body in his spot was mine - b-ville delivered it to his spot...sure didn't every see a '32coupe there at any point.
Several years ago we did quite a good trip of USA, and on our trip we got to meet Mike and Christine Frade. We didn't stay long with them, but in that relatively short time we both gained a great...
