Oh my God... It's beautiful....
It's here! It's here!
Got my Posie super slide Hollywood roll spring leaf today. right on time as promised. Well wrapped and packaged, as expected. Very nicely painted with a deep jet black FLAT finish paint, as agreed.
It is so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes
- Geese, just kidding of course!
Ends are tapered, teflon is sandwiched between each leaf and since it is black too, it blends in nicely. You can't see it from the top. No buttons, looks real nice / nostalgic. I can't wait to see how this new spring is going to affect a)- my clearance problem and b)- my riding comfort.
So far the entire experience dealing with Posie has been absolutely WONDERFUL. Now I hope the spring itself lives up to my expectations... I promise to post photos once it is mounted on the car. I didn't want to unwrap it, they had bundled it up nicely and I didn't want to scratch the paint job when taking it to the shop Saturday.
Wish us luck!FAITH

Posie's makes good stuff and they're a great outfit to deal with.
Couple o' weeks back, Sweetie and I were in the 50's themed diner near Locomotive Park in Kingman, Arizona.
Same weekend as the Sema show.
We parked the 32 out front and had just ordered when the whole darned Posie's gang walked in.
Across the street - actually Route 66, the Mother Road - is the old powerhouse with museum inside.
In the powerhouse parking lot were all of the cars Posie's drove to the SEMA show.
Quite a nice collection and you'll probably see them in a magazine write-up before long.
I didn't get a chance to speak to any of the Posie's gang, but you can bet that Sweetie and I crossed the road in the 32 and spent some time perusing a very nice collection of cars.
Bad part was, I usually carry a camera, but it's broke so no pics....C9

Here's a link to the car Posie drove to Vegas; http://www.posiesrodsandcustoms.com/...es-fleetliner/Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.

You are right...when I first saw those springs I nearly cried myself....no more hunting down OE springs and cleaning/blasting/grinding/rounding....just for "the look".
It is so funny that Mike Goodman(of Honest Charlie) and Corey Coker came up with the idea of driving some cars out to SEMA.....and Ken instantly names it the "Posies" Driven Dirty......funny guy he is.

Radiator shell definitely doesn't go with the body style; tall skinny tires look out of proportion; front suspension, though nicely done, is ugly. Ol' Ken missed the mark on this one...Jim

I like it. I like the rear brake lights, I like the discreet pinstriping above rear wheel, I like the tall thin wheels too. the car is odd looking but to me as appeal. I like the tail pipes too...
I have notcied that those real tall wheels are becoming the "IT" thing on some roadsters... I just saw the same set on a very cool steel 32 Hollywood hotrod is building for this guy... i would not put them on my roadster, but for the more 'racey- dragster" looking roadster it worked very nicely...FAITH

After a second and closer look, I don't think would be so bad if had a real set of tires and wheels.
