You guys! You guys! I'M IN! I'M IN!
I just heard word yesterday, the commitee has gone through the applications and it looks like Hiboy and I are going to the Grand Roadster National Show in January!!!!
They have selected / approved us for the Suede Building
(happy dance)
So I have already put my thinking cap on and last night started working on my video footage edits for my display. This morning as I was driving to work I decided that I will be ambitious and record my song "Flat Black Roadster" so it will be used at the show as background music for the video footage I am editing.
The song will be available for download for free on my website so I hope you all download it and play it when you cruise and circulate it as much as possible. I promise it will sound gooOooood.
I have already started cleaning up the recording studio and calling up musicians to line up back up band to record with. I also reworked the lyrics and finalized song structure and length. Since I have been producing for over 20 years, this is going to be an easy task. Rewiring my dismentelled recording studio however, is not... I swore music business off two years ago and have not recorded a thing since... Sigh.. At least now I have a reason to get out of my lazy mode .
I HOPE I WILL GET TO MEET MANY OF YOU AT THE SHOW so be sure if you attend it, to find Hiboy (and me) in the Suede Building and say hello!
(happy, happy dance)FAITH

Just got my copy of the video of the 2006 "Cruisin' for a Cure" car show and was pleasantly surprised to see Faith was caught on film in the act of cruisin. Faith, if you're interested in getting the video you can contact Still Motion Productions at www.stillmotionproductions.net or 562-596-5684.
By the way..... you were lookin' good!

I'll be laying some of the guitar tracks myself as well. Everything else I can do in house. I have started loading up my softwares to prepare for the session. My PC crashed last month and I lost everything in terms of software... What a DRAG! This is going to set me back by a good week or so? Don't know will attempt to get it done this week-end since it is supposed to rain Sunday - no cruising!FAITH

Yep. And I seem to move 1 thing and it displaces something else with 1/2 of that landing on the workbench and then I forgot where I was going with this other thing and I'll see something else that...
