    Installation of a 32 firewall

What is the correct procedure for installing a 32 original style steel firewall? Can it be pushed in place from the front of the body or is it designed to be pushed in place from the bottom? The body and firewall are Brookville.
    Thanks

Generally the firewall is bolted the frame first, then the body is slid onto the firewall from the rear - so I guess to answer your question, it goes in from the front? Are you trying to install the firewall off the chassis for some reason?

    Smile Firewall

I have the body on a dolly that I can roll the body around my shop. I did install the firewall from the front with the rubber seal in place it took a bit of effort. Once in place it was fine, but it just seemed to me maybe there was a better way to install.
    Thanks
