1932 Fuel tank
Iam in the market for a gas tank for my 32. I am am going to be putting it in the original position. What I am wanting to know is who makes a good tank and should I go stainless.
Thanks

If you are looking for a tank that looks like a correct '32 tank, the Vintique is it. If you want extra capacity, Vintique just released a 16 gallon tank that looks like a correct '32 tank. the reshaped the forward part of the floor to add the capacity.

Vintique makes a real close copy of a original tank ... ( shown is a original one ... from Henry )
I prefer the stock look ... they hold upwards of 12 gallons and even if your 32 gets 12 to 13 MPG ... you have a range of over 125 miles. I do not like to ride over 100 miles at a time anyway ... I need to stop, stretch my legs and get another Diet Coke. I also have to get rid of the last " Diet Coke "
The oversize tanks look like a baby diaper full of poo on the rear of most 32's ... especially fenderless ...IMHOGoing 33 and 1/3 rpms in a IPOD world

I totally agree on the baby diaper look - especially from the side. See if you can find a pic of Vintique's new 16 gallon tank - they added depth waaay up front just behind the axle, where you can't see it from the side profile.
I still run the stock style in my cars...looks better.
And my car gets around 20 on the freeway.....haha.

I agree with both Deuce and Sirspeedy. Although I haven't seen the new Vintique tank, I like to stop about every 120 to 150 miles to unkink and drain!
My 32 roadster pickup has an original passenger car tank just under the rear of the bed, gives it a little different look.

Yep. And I seem to move 1 thing and it displaces something else with 1/2 of that landing on the workbench and then I forgot where I was going with this other thing and I'll see something else that...
