I do have to concede that the high speed rating thing concerns me on bias plys. Since I only "bury" the tach on rare occasions, and for very short bursts, I guess I am ok.

However, I think back to former days, like when I had my tripower GTO in '66 and was street racing a Mustang. My speedo only went to 120 and the needle got well past that, and I was running on redlines. Of course, those were hi tech at the time.

You didn't expect her to take all this with blind faith, did you?

After all the sniping she may have lost faith............let's hope that charity will prevail.

Do you know Charity, Uncle Bob??? Heck of a nice girl, now if she'd just shed a few pounds!!!!!!

I think Faith went to make another movie. I have faith that Faith will prevail and have enough faith in all the postings here that Faith will accept us in faith....or something like that...

What? You don't have much faith in hope? That's not very charitable of you!

Back in '65 I was heading back to Pendleton on I-5 in the coupe with a couple of buddies at about 1 in the morning and one of them asked how fast it would go. I said I didn't know so lets find out. At that time it was just two lanes in each direction and there was a little dogleg just before you got to San Juan Capistrano. I mashed the pedal to the floor and the last time I looked my trusty 160 mph S/W speedo was bouncing between 125 and 135. We entered the dogleg in the left lane and exited in the right lane and I didn't move the steering wheel. Needless to say it scared the crap out of me and I never tried that again. I was running 550/15's up front and 815/15's out back and of course they were bias ply. It's a wonder that I didn't kill myself or others in that car.

    What is a bias tire?

    Where can I buy one?

Will they make my car more cooler?

Will they fit on my Rambler?

How do you have time to develop that many opinions? I'm envious.
