If you are looking for a plain trans tunnel I remember seeing one for sell in a summit racing catalog. pretty cheap too. I have seen them for sale at other places. They come with the tapered ends too.Last edited by BigTruckDriver; 04-08-2007 at 10:25 PM.

Not really that difficult ... with just a little planning ... always go with card board first ... metal is not as inexpensive as card board.Going 33 and 1/3 rpms in a IPOD world

Summit has these for 50 bucks. You could use this kit to make a custom fitting tunnel. They also sell a basic tunnel like what you would see in a dragstrip car .I think they come in aluminum and steel.http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=skuLast edited by BigTruckDriver; 04-09-2007 at 12:34 PM.

Once your pattern fits good, transfer it to the sheet metal and cut it out. For putting the bend in for the tunnel,There is no limit to what a man can do . . . if he doesn't mind who gets the credit. (Ronald Reagan)

I always do a rough cut first, then put a few reference marks for the radius on each end using a straight edge to connect the lines, bend the tunnel then trim the excess as I fit it to the floor and firewall. For me, it works better on the bending if I can see the basic dimension of the piece I'm bending....If that makes any sense. I guess it all depends on how you normally do it, either way should work fine...Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
