    Seat covers for a '32 Ford???

    .....Ok, they say there are no dumb questions so; Does anyone make a universal seat cover for a '32 Ford seat??? Wise guy seats. I was just going to put a blanket over the seat untill I got it appolstered BUT now I see that the seat cover is what holds the foam padding in place!!! OR is there a way to secure my foam padding onto the seat??? Thanks all Bill

    Two choices;
    One do what an upholstery guy would do, get a sheet of muslin (go to a fabric store), cut to fit with some "tails", then hog ring the muslin over the foam to the seat frame (unless it's plywood then use staples). Then cover with the blanket, use same type fasteners to keep it in place.

    Or look at what these guys do: http://www.rodinteriors.com/

    ...... Thanks Big Dude, Thanks Bob, I'll check out both of those leads I do either one or the other.... It's a pain in the a** to have to push the seat bottom back in everytime I get in it..... Bill
