Actually have not posted progress ... and this old thread came back up so ...

Put it all together and went to the GoodGuys event in Charlotte NC Octiber 2007 ... then went home and blew it apart for paint.

Worked all the fenders, got them black also and now back on the coupe for the last time.

If you look closely in the last photo, you can see the hood tops on the stands ... already painted and just needing a rub out and buff

    Thanks ...

It has been a long build. I just got the dash and all the garnish moldings woodgrained back to factory original specifications by Bob Kennedy in Whittier CA.

Although I am kind of a fenderless hot rod guy, I really have to admit a Deuce done like yours just looks so right. I even liked it before you started to paint it, but now it looks even better. You are so lucky to have it and your other ones too, they are really sharp.

I am still looking at your fuel line setup and I am guessing that is aluminum line?

NO ... just regular steel fuel line from the Car/Quest or NAPA ... My local Car/Quest has it in lengths up to 80 inches. I bought some real good tubing benders and a Mastercool hydraulic flaring tool ... and then proceeded to make a big pile of scrap tubing until I got it like I wanted.

Deuce, thanks for a realistic answer and amazing results. I have already started my scrap pile so I can really admire your final result!
