Every Memorial Day weekend ...

A bunch of 1932 Ford owners gather off exit #25 on Interstate 77 just above Charlortte NC ... and gather up at 10 AM ... and go up the Blue Ridge Parkway to Blowing Run NC. For those of you who do not know, Blowing Rock is a tourist type town nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains.









We stop along the way ... at scenic overlooks and talk ... take pictures ... and just enjoy the drive with 30 to 50 other 32 Ford owners ...

Up I-77 for a few miles ...









Just 1932 Fords ONLY ... please.
Most of us also have/and/or love other types of cars but to keep this FUN day cruise a manageable event ... ( number wise ) we do limit it to 32 Fords.

Original, fiberglass ... reproduction ... pro built or home built ... does not matter ... NO ATTITUDE ... just fun with your DEUCE ...

When we arrive in Blowing Rock NC ... we go to Canyons ... a Sports Cafe type of place over looking the mountains and eat. After everyone has eaten, most Deuce owners drift out to the parking lot and sit around and talk. Some spend the night in Blowing Rock and some drive back home. I usually drive my roadster the 175 miles to another cruise-in in Anderson SC ... then home the 140 miles to home around midnight ...

This year ... the meeting date is May the 26th ... a Saturday.
We will meet at the Target Shopping Center ... a exit 25 off Interstate 77 . We will leave at 10 AM ... and drive up the Blue Ridge Parkway to Blowing Rock NC ...

Does look like a fun trip though! Wish I could afford a blue oval deuce to travel along with you. But unlikely to happen, wife don't like 'em.

I will be there next year. I got a long way to go to get mine finished. But I am hoping to have it done by the end of the year.

You will be WELCOME ...
It is just a little deal a friend and I do to have fun. We both have been 32 Ford guys a long time and are somewhat tired of the NSRA/GoodGuys sit around type of events ( BUT we still go ... ) so we started this. It is beautiful mountainside ride and the place we stop at to eat has a large parking lot.

The only reason we limit it to 1932 Fords is to keep it manageable ... There is no place in Blowing Rock that we could get that will hold 100, 200 or more hot rods

I have been on the Deuce trip in the past and everybody has a great time,,,,cool people and warm weather,,,what more could you ask,,,,

It seems that an employee took a wedding for that day and the other employee took some time off,,,,,,so we are not able to make it this year! HRP
