Yo Rocknrod! Another thing I forgot to mention - when I got the body on the frame and my Tanks steel tank bolted up back there I noticed that there's about 1 3/8" gap between the bottom of the body and the gas tank! I sent them an E-mail at NAM about it and Ed phoned me. Seems there are "problems with some frames" where the rear frame horns after years of use/abuse tend to drop and give a wrong build to a body if it's built on a frame like this! Well MY frame is new and using Hot Rods and Horsepower rails, the same as AS, and everything measures right - but even Ed said they're looking at redoing the frame they use to build on after talking to a few "knowlegable people"! Hate to say it but you might be looking at shimming up your gas tank like I'm going to do to mine!! Another thing to watch for is the trans tunnel - mines off set to the passengers side a bit and kind of a weird shape, not like the 1/2 circle it should be! It clears the 77 I'm using okay, but it's just not right! Fun eh! Drop me an E-mail at deuceguy@shaw.ca if you want sometime! I've taken pictures of all these things and I'm sending one of each to the boys at NAM.

The Gap on the first body I had was tight. However the tranny tunnel had that offset thing going too, so I had to cut it out and re-glass it there.
I think I will FEDEX them a letter in the AM and voice my concerns. Cause your right, we are paying top dollar for this stuff and should NOT be unhappy.

Hey Rocknrod, did you get the pics etc I sent you? Didn't hear back and we've had trouble with our ISP lately!
