...THANKS Denny, didn't see anything on their site that was that small, just baffles in 2 1/2", 3", 4", etc... But I'm tired so may be I missed something. Went to the Sanderson site & also didn't see what size tubing their small block Zoomies are. I read some feedback on the Sanderson site from someone who has their Zoomies {that come with baffles} & he said they were so loud that he got complaints right away. He also said he bought more baffles from Car Chemistry but hasn't installed them yet. Tomorrow I'll call Sanderson, LP Performance & Car Chemistry & see what they have... Thanks again, goodnite, I'm turning in Bill

Motorcycle baffles will probably be your best bet, but don't expect it to be quiet, in my opinion the pipes are just too short for anything to be effective in making them quiet or reasonably quiet. Alot of it depends on YOUR perception of what's liveable just remember when ever you drive the car the exhaust, and noise are coming back at you not alot of fun if you spend much time in traffic.
Also as i've warned others don't plan on keeping too much on the wall's of your garage either, everytime you start the car it blows the wall's clean.

I think Ron is right, no matter what we do, they are just going to be noisier than a full length system. I have heard that Harley Davidson dealers have stock baffles that have been removed to install racing ones for their customers. One post said they simply throw these away, and will give them to you. I find that hard to imagine, but maybe. In any event, these could still be bought from them and one slipped into each tube.
Some guys have made their own too, using a long tube, punched full of holes to divert the exhaust flow through them. Some have even gone to a commercial janitorial supply house and bought stainless steel wool cleaning pads, and stuffed those inside each tube.
I'm going to make my own baffles for the Limefires on my T, and if it is too loud, I will try the steel wool trick. I just hope all the cops I encounter have a sense of humor and are car enthusiasts themselves.

Instead of Zoomie's, why not a set of lakes megaphone style headers?
Sanderson sells them, Speedway makes a nice kit for them.
That way you get the look and the exhaust is plumbed into a system that'll keep the fumes out of the cockpit as well as being as quiet as you want.
Far as I know, most state vehicle codes don't allow a front area of the car exhaust exit.C9

....Ron & Don, ok motorcycle baffles. I know a guy who works at HD & I will ask him the next time I see him. And steel wool? Good idea! LOL, clean the garage walls!!!
C9x, I have outside exit headers on their now & I don't think the lakes style ones would look that different..... Yeah the law, that could be a problem.....
Dave, yeah a 'cop magnet', didn't really want to hear that, but it's the truth! I haven't been pulled over yet & I sort a like that BUT may be I could get a set just for car shows.....
THANKS guys Bill
