I'm in the market for a 32 three window. Has anyone had experience with BeBops GlassWorks out of Athens, Tenn?

Another good source is Bear Fiberglass. NNFiberglass does have a good reputation for a excellent product as well. Quality costs a little more but as usual you get what you pay for.Bob

I have found BeBops stuff to be very well constructed, and I have talked with the owner who impressed me as a friendly guy who is concerned with putting out a quality product. I would not hesitate buying a BeBops body based on the ones I have seen. Yogi's, a company I trust more than any other, has started handling BeBops stuff, and they would refuse to sell anything substandard. Give them a call, and they may be able to cut you a better deal than buying direct. Check them out at www.yogisinc.com.

Bebops 3W Coupe
I just got a 3W coupe from Bebops a couple of months ago. The fiberglass was really straight & thick! The floor board matched the frame perfect! I believe that they have the best body in the southeast!

N&N has a very good reputation around here. Another good source is Show Me Rod and Custom in the Springfield, Missouri area. It pays to shop around. An Old California Rodder

Just out of curiousity, do any of these coupe bodies have provisions to be able to use a stock type chrome windshield frame? I would want a healthy chop, but the windshield on a coupe NEEDS a chrome frame IMO...The one thing that always bothers me about 'glass coupes is the glued-in modern looking windshield. That would be one of the first things I'd personally look for/ask about when shopping for a glass body.Joe Barr

A friend of mine went to Louisville, and ran across a vender that sells polished aluminium outer windshield frames that glue on the windshield glass. He can't remember the company name, but he was a smaller vender, and not one of the big name venders. I would like to contact this guy...........does anyone know who this guy is, and have any contact info?
Thanks, DennisOn a quiet night, you can hear a Ford rust.

Wescott's 32 3 window is built to provide for a stock style windshield. http://www.wescottsauto.com/body-193...rd-coupe-3.htm
If you look at the black 32 3 window in my gallery, it is a Gibbon body (not recommended by the way) and has a stock style, tilt out shield. In the Gibbon it took some reinforcement structure in the header to support the hinges, but the shape of the opening was formed to accommodate the full frame. That's the key, if the depth of the w/s opening is sufficient to swallow a frame and not just a shallow flange to glue the glass to. The full frame style can also be glued in, as long as you understand how much work it will be to cut it out if repair/replacement is necessary.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Yep. And I seem to move 1 thing and it displaces something else with 1/2 of that landing on the workbench and then I forgot where I was going with this other thing and I'll see something else that...
