steel stretched body
Does Brookville make a stretched steel body for a 32 ford roadster? I am looking to buy a steel body but must have the extra room because Im 6'5". I think the only stretched body is Rod bods (2 inch). Any help would be great!!!

I have a glass Show Me body with a 2" stretch through the doors. And it makes a big difference. An Old California Rodder

The only problem I have with Dearborn is (unless they made a major change) You can order one all you want.
Dont hold your breath for the finished product.

Thank you

We are building her a new ride ... started with a original 32 3W body ...
Here she is in it ... original seat frame in it also. I am changing the steering wheel from a original 40 Ford wheel to a smaller 14 inch wheel ... with the van tilt ... in the position I have it ... the large wheel is too close to the door and too close to her knees.
Here it is with the new repro 40 Ford wheel from LeCarra ... lots more room ...
Too bad you are not closer to the SouthLand ... I would let you drive my roadster and see how you fit ...

Deuce - I agree with you, it's all in the seat. There is plenty of room in there it's all in the configuration of all the "stuff".

I have a RodBods body & I could barely get in it when I bought it. So off to the upholstery shop it went & they shortened & tucked the back of Glide seat partially under the body. I'm 6'2", about 250 lbs & have lots of room.
That's family friend Jarod sitting in my car & he's 6'3".

Not to beat this to death, but my roadster is stretched 2". The advantage to a stretched interior is the extended door length. It's much easier to enter and exit. But again, I think once you are in you can have as much room as you need. Just my opinion.

Well- Ken's pic got me to go to the garage & measure mine from the same exact point. You do have more room!
