    Thumbs up New-Age 5-window body

Well Folks, I finally got the 5-window body I ordered from them in August - oicked it up in WA two weeks ago. Overall I'm happy with the body, it's well built, well reinforced and pretty much everything they claimed it is! I ordered mine with the optional flip out (stock) windshield frame, the cowl vent, 3" chop, roll down back window, and the stock trunk latch setup, and they're all perfect. A couple of things I'm not that wild about tho - the front of the cowl where the lacing goes is pretty thick unlike the Wescott body of my roadster and will take a fair amount of work to make it look "stock". Considering how much work they go to to make the rest of the body look "real", with the drip rails etc, I'd think they could put more thought into that part. The other area I don't really like is the door frames, the area between the door skins and the inside. They were pretty detailed on the one I saw at the Puyallup show, but on mine they will need a fair bit of work to finish right. There was a bit of separation between the outer door skin and the inside panel where they joined them. I'm not sure who caused that, but I know the body wasn't desturbed in the sealed area that it left Conneticut in in the trailer so........! Nevertheless, I've already epoxied that so it's fine! That aside, I'm happy with it and glad I bought it, and if anyone wants to E-mail me and discuss it further feel free to!
