It's a 32 Chevy 4 door sedan powered by a ZZ4. Paint is laquer candy apple red & is nearly 30 years old. I don't care for the velvet pink button tuck interior though.
I keep teasing my friend I'm going to steal his car & drop it off at Gabes.

Great story about Sgt. Jarod Behee, thanks for sharing it. I am a disabled Vietnam infantry veteran and I lost alot of buddies to mines,RPG and mortor rounds. After my last injury (land mine) I took care of the company mail and delivered it to guys at the hospital and talked to them when it was possible. Saw some nasty injuries. It was so depressing when I went to take mail to a guy and he had died since the day before. Medical care has improved since then (at least I think it has) and these guys need ALL the help they can get, both when they are injured and after they have "recovered"--which sometimes never happens.
Having said that, here's one of my favorite '32 pictures.

When I was editing my last post I left out something. These guys need all the help they can get-- AND all the support we can give them. This us something that we Vietnam veterans didn't get. It's never too late to have a happy childhood!

Here is one I had Found a Couple of Years ago
I found this while crusing around one day. Garage door that was NEVER open just happened to be open that day and the owner was in the garage. I stopped to ask about the car. He had owned it since the late 50's. It was a real time warp car. In the early 60's it had a 283 in it. He also owned a 57 vette with a 327 in it that ran real well. A guy at work was bugging him to sell the vette so he pulled the 283 out of the 32' and put the vette 327 and 4spd in the 32 and sold him the vette with the old 283!!
The car had an old white naugahyde tuck and roll job, red painted steel wheels and whitewall slicks and a mexican blanket over the original seat fabric, ALL of it on there since the very early 60's. It also is 100% Henry Ford steel including the fenders. He also had a dual quad Hemi intake and carbs from a 55 300 that he threw in for $100. Car was still wearing 1966 Nebraska plates!! He was getting ready to move to Mo. and was wiring lights on the car to hook it to a tow bar to drag it back to Mo.!!!
If I'm not mistaken, one of the Clubhotrod members out of Mo. has it now.

I've been bugging this friend for a year to sell me his 32 3 window project he hasn't touched in years. Won't sell, he's had it for 30+ years. I'm not giving up- I love the car & would love to finish it. It's only 2,000 miles away from me.

I'm still working on him. My ace in the hole is he has a 55 Chevy wagon project he needs to sink a boatload of cash into & he's a little short on car funds. I thought I had it for sure just before Christmas but he changed his mind at last minute. The stance is perfect- the chop is perfect & it screams for a blown Hemi. He can have the 327 that's in it now. Either a Hemi goes in it or I know where there's a numbered ZZ430 for sale still in the crate.
I need to see yours in black w/ red wheels. Great score!

Yep. And I seem to move 1 thing and it displaces something else with 1/2 of that landing on the workbench and then I forgot where I was going with this other thing and I'll see something else that...
