Hiboy Rear Tires
Can anyone tell me what brand rear tires these cars have? I have 16"x10" Team III Fueler wheels for my roadster and all I can find are Hoosier tires (I don't like the tread pattern) and 285/60-16" BFG T/A's.
Thanks, BruceIt's never too late to have a happy childhood!

BF Goodrich Sport Truck T/A. Take a look at the car in this link. It clearly has the same rear tires, but you can read the sidewall better.

Hi Gastrick, Thanks for the info on the tires! I saw your Ute at the Billetproof run at Garlits' place, looks great!!!! I didn't take a car because I had emailed the guys doing the run and they said my cars were too modern to fit in. After going there I saw alot of cars that had a more modern look than our '37 or Falcon , oh well, we still enjoyed going. Thanks again, BruceIt's never too late to have a happy childhood!

Sorry I missed you at Billetproof. I guess I should have hung around my cars some, I missed meeting some people. Thanks on the ute. It's just a beater and rough around the edges but it's fun and I don't worry about scratching it or getting it dirty. Tiny little booger ain't it?I may not be good but I sure am slow

Not sure if I showed you this before but it's a '48 Morris Van I put together starting in '65 and finishing it in '70 with time out for Nam. I put a brand new 271HP 289 Ford engine/C4 in it with a narrowed Olds rear end. It was kinda like the gassers of that era but I drove it on the street. Fun car, had to sell it to buy a house.
I checked on those BFG Sport Truck T/A's at 4 different places today and no one has ever heard of them. I checked on the BFG web site and there is noting like that listed. Must be another discontinued tire. I see alot of them on cars on www.carnut.com and www.socalcarculture.comLast edited by NSRA905; 04-24-2008 at 01:37 PM.

The BFG Sport Truck TA's were discontinued 2 or 3 years ago. Watch ebay as they show up occasionally. The size you want are 315/55R16 or 345/55R16.

I've got a pair of 285/60R16 on my coupe. I'd post a picture but I haven't been able to figure out how to attach one.

Got a New set of 345-55/17 BFG's listed today on this site
Yep. And I seem to move 1 thing and it displaces something else with 1/2 of that landing on the workbench and then I forgot where I was going with this other thing and I'll see something else that...
