I think you and your guy have a design that would work on a smooth hood---However, flames need to start somewhere and louvers are a perfect place---engine on fire, flames coming outta the louvers----But---I'm not here to talk you into a different design and I feel as tho you should choose a artist for their design--not give them something to copy---If you want Dennis to paint it---tell him to call you when its done---you will have something you like and people in the know will be able to tell who did it from a block away--
