    Well, it's a start!

Just thought I'd post a pic of my 32 Project. I have the frame jig completed now, but in these pictures it was not quite done. The frame was just mocked up for reference. I hope to have the basic frame completed before the snow flys.
    Wish me luck.

Looks like you got a real good start to me. Shouldn't be too long before it is together. Just how soon does the snow fly up there in the tundra country?? Labor day or earlier. Never been there, but really would like to visit the area.

Not quite that early as a rule, but we did have a couple feet in early Sep back in 94. Usually though it's Mid October. Bad part is it doesn't melt until April. I have a really nice shop to work in, but I'm not sure that I can afford to heat it this winter @ $5.00 a gallon heating oil.

Yeah, I hear you . It's going to be really rough on a lot of people this winter if the fuel prices don't drop. My heating costs will go up in two years when the caps come off of the electric prices ( all electric house). Can't wait. I might have to move to Florida to avoid the shock. Unfortunately, down there killer is homeowners insurance with some people paying over $6k a year for just a modest house.

I guess every place has it's good points and it's bad. Some have mudslides and forest fires, others have twisters, and blizzards and what have you.

Yea, all we really have is six months of cold weather. I mean there's the occaisional earth quake, but their mostly tame. At current prices it will cost me over $4000.00 to heat my shop this winter. I could think of alot better ways to spend that kind of money. Maybe I'll move the Hot Rod project in the house this winter, I'll have to knock out a wall, but the wifes been bugging me about remodeling anyway.
