These grilles are made to close off the air flow to the radiator ... so the engine can warm up in a very cold climate.
These things are either " You LOVE them ... or You HATE them "
Because of their rarity, they have become a status symbol of sorts. It's like LOOK AT ME ... or I have more money to spent than you do
We all know that if you have 7 grand or more to spend on a grille, you have a modern car to drive in cold, frigid weather and would not risk your 32 Ford in that weather.
