How do I check the pinion angle on the 32 and what should it be??

It is a typical 32 big ones on the rear little on the front with a significant rake in the frame.

The amount of "Rake" and the fact it is a 32 has just about nothing to do with pinion angle. What does matter is "Drivetrain" Angle" and this should be your reference point. Here is a good web-site that gives the down and dirty information on pinion angle and how it should be set.

A good starting point is 3 degrees up on the pinion and 3 down on the transmission tailshaft. Get yourself one of the $ 10 angle finders at the hardware store, Lowes, Home Depot, and simply find a flat machined surface like on the facing edge of the U joint carrier, and go from there. There is some room for misalignment here, look at some of the jacked up trucks running around.
