The Chevy unit has the brake internals (which includes a residual valve) on the left and the clutch internals (without a residual valve) on the right side. You need the brake valving on the right side with an Ansen setup so you'll have to remove the "C" clips and swap the internals side to side. Its a simple 5 minute job. That said, replacements from NAPA have been known to come with residual valves in both sides and your clutch will not work correctly with a residual valve. Why Chevy reversed it in their linkage assembly I have no clue.

I did know about having to switch the internals around but I didn't know that about the Napa master cylinders. THANKS for the heads up as I will be paying more attention to this now!
