2nd windshield in 1 year!
That's what happens when you drive them I guess. Replaced it last year (sandblasted & pitted from 10 years of driving). Took it out this morning for a little 32 & me time. Friggin truck kicked up a rock 5 minutes after I left the house.. Better the glass than paint.
Frame is over at The Glass House in San Dimas (again).

Well at least you live close to a good shop....

Bummer! But I agree with you, better than the paint getting hit. That happened to me last year and I was telling my friend what had happened, he told me my windshield must be to high!! I use the same glass shop also.

Yea- $125.00 is a whole lot better than repainting the nose of a flamed car.
He had another 32 frame in there- for the same thing.

How about have a "Rodwell" (curved) on yer roadster for less than 15 miles and KABOOM a rock chip.
On the 1st test run of my new roadster, that ain't no $125 deal fer sureWhen I get to where I was goin, I forgot why I went there>

Picked up the windshield today. Talk about fast!
Got tint this time, last 2 were clear. Looks very cool.
My rear view mirror was one of those heavy billet glue on glass types I've hated for years. Looks terrible from front side of glass IMO (the one I was using).
So- he fixed me up w/ this & I couldnt be happier! Should clear my BopTop just fine.
Pardon my cheapo camera phone- crappy pic. Not installed on car yet- I'll do that tomorrow night.
I also had him use a rubber channel seal instead of the cloth type one I had before (frays). Much better!

I love your car & especially the color. When I repainted the car last year- I toyed w/ the thought of a color change but stuck w/ black at the last minute- but added flames. I almost pulled the trigger on a windshield change when we painted the car to a Duvall but that would have mushroomed into a BopTop change too. Got to stop somewhere.
Or- toy w/ the thought of building another car.

Don't ya just love rocks............
3 days after we picked up our new TrailBlazer we had a rock the size of a baseball bounce out of the back of a truck. I did everything to get it to miss me, but the truck was like a magnet. WHAMMMMMM, the windshield shattered & I tried to get the driver to pull over but he wouldn't & when I called their insurance company they said "O'Well". I told my insurance man who the company was & nothing was done & my insurance ended up paying for it. Sad part is that SOB didn't have his load covered which is a law in the state of Illinois, where's the cops when you need them ...joeDonate Blood,Plasma,Platelets & sign your DONORS CARD & SAVE a LIFE
